Why it was built

From the founders' shutdown post: 'We know lightning can be used more privately, and we wanted to prove that and use it ourselves.' The web wallet idea came when their Apple developer account was wrongly flagged as sanctioned, so they built for the web instead of app stores. · Source (opens in a new tab)
